David is a Board Member of MBK | MSK and Deputy General Counsel, Labor and Employment at Balyasny Asset Management. Previously, he was a Senior Associate at Hogan Lovells. In his role as an employment attorney, he counsels companies on a variety of matters, including internal investigations, employment and consulting contracts, personnel policies, reductions in force, and wage and hour issues. David regularly advises on the labor and employment aspects of domestic and cross-border transactions.
David was selected as a 2019 Council of Urban Professionals Fellow and a 2017 New York City Bar Associate Leadership Institute Fellow. He is a board member of My Brother’s Keeper / My Sister’s Keeper, an organization devoted to promoting fellowship in support of Black attorneys. David is also a founding member of the Black BigLaw Pipeline, a non-profit organization dedicated to increasing and maintaining the number of Black associates who successfully navigate BigLaw. He graduated from New York University and received his J.D. from Vanderbilt Law.
